Ashleigh was a Penn undergraduate in the lab in the Vagelos Scholars Program in Molecular Life Sciences program from October 2020 to May 2023. She is from Toledo, Ohio. At Penn, she was involved in the Science and Technology Wing (STWing) board, Penn for Youth Debate, and Perspective in Humanities. In her free time, she likes to play piano, tennis, and video games. Ashleigh went on to pursue her Ph.D. at Yale University.
